I noticed there is a huge amount of differant types of frame slides to protect your motorcycle. My question is, what type of frame slider are the best?

Depends on your point of view. Basicly all frame-sliders rise the possibilty for the bike to flick over when hitting the curbes at a 90-degree angle. Also the chance of a broken frame is higher than without them. The advantage is of course the chance that only the sliders are damaged after a crash and not the engine casing or the cooler. So none could also be the best choice ;-)

The best ones avaliable in Germany are build by Moko http://www.gsg-mototechnik.de/ and should brake before the frame cracks.
If you own a Yamaha there are some stock parts available that are supposed to work fine. I personally have bad experience with B&G parts.

Regards, Jörg

Edit: Fogot to answer you question. The best sliders from my experience are: - MoKo Sliders replacing one of the engine bolts.
- B&G Sliders for front and rear axle of the wheels
- CRC crank case replacement cover (very strong aluminum)
- some carbon protecting the frame (carbon engine covers are pretty useless as the are normally not strong enough (i.e. Sebimoto))
