Frame Sliders
Kontaktdaten:
I noticed there is a huge amount of differant types of frame slides to protect your motorcycle. My question is, what type of frame slider are the best?
Re: Frame Sliders

Depends on your point of view. Basicly all frame-sliders rise the possibilty for the bike to flick over when hitting the curbes at a 90-degree angle. Also the chance of a broken frame is higher than without them. The advantage is of course the chance that only the sliders are damaged after a crash and not the engine casing or the cooler. So none could also be the best choice
The best ones avaliable in Germany are build by Moko http://www.gsg-mototechnik.de/ and should brake before the frame cracks.
If you own a Yamaha there are some stock parts available that are supposed to work fine. I personally have bad experience with B&G parts.
Regards, Jörg
Edit: Fogot to answer you question. The best sliders from my experience are: - MoKo Sliders replacing one of the engine bolts.
- B&G Sliders for front and rear axle of the wheels
- CRC crank case replacement cover (very strong aluminum)
- some carbon protecting the frame (carbon engine covers are pretty useless as the are normally not strong enough (i.e. Sebimoto))
