can anyone tell me something about this fork type. I have it and I want to know more about it because the internet has not helped much.
All i know is that it`s massive it`s pretty rare and expensive . Thank you.

It was used in WSBK 2000-2001 on the ZX7RR and I guess at some time also by Suzuki in the same period. Early model (yours) had swappable adapters for either axial or radial calipers, 2001 model hat fixed ones. When you remove the caliper adapters, you can fit an anvil where you can plunge in various characteristics for damping.
The forks, once they where layed horizontally, need to be vented manually to get out the last bit of air from the pushrod because they don't do it automatically like Öhlins forks. Overall it's a nice, underrated fork with huge potential.

do you know if anyone even services these forks these days because i would like to have them checked out and I don`t know where to start. I am from Romania.

WP itself probably does it without a problem. Mostly, they need new oil and seals - that shouldn't be a big deal for most of the suspension services. But I can't recommend one in specific. I'd try WP, I guess.

I have contacted WP and I got a negative answer. I also wanted to know if they could resurface the coating on the inner fork tubes because the colour is starting to fade a bit and they were able only to name the company that made their treatment coating and that the forks were made in Holland.
Any idea where I could get a good suspension guru for these forks?

Ok, that surprises me. I don't think it makes sense to recoat the tubes in a monetary view...
I can't tell you a suspension guru - maybe someone else here can?

the guys over BrookeSuspension in the UK told me that they can service the fork and recoat ( titanium nitride or diamond like coating) for about 500 pounds but was wondering if there is someone in Germany or Italy or a country closest to Romania

WP belongs now to KTM in Austria, maybe they can do it as well.
