I found the issue, it is funny and embarrassing at the same time....
After cutting the wire, the bike didn't start anymore and I had the error on the dash. After checking the fuses I notice there was one blown. I took a similar pink 4A fuse from another source and I could start again but still had the error on the dash.
When I read the error codes from the ECU, I had an error for the "heel" sensor which is the one that measures the lean angle. I replaced the sensor (€490 new but found one for €50 shipped) but the error remained the same.
I had no clue anymore and took it to the dealer to see if they could read the errors and discover something else. Took my bike inside with the fairings already off. The first thing the technician asks me (in meantime pointing to the fusebox) what was here and why is it removed. Me: I blew a fuse and used that one to replace the other, no idea what it is used for.
I already began feeling uncomfortable while the technician was going to get another fuse. He plugged in the other fuse and gone was the error. I never felt me like such a loser as then. I was in the workplace less than 5 minutes....
Glad the issue is resolved but I remain embarrassed especially because I already went to the dealer before just to get new fuses but I didn't took the time to plug it in!
