I want to race!

First of all, thank you very much Horst. I was almost getting frustrated there for a min. IDM is not what I am after but the Serien sport sounds perfect for me!
I have raced in:
125 GP: Honda RS 125
Formula 3: ZXR-400 Kawasaki
Formula 2/600cc super sports: Yamaha R6/Suzuki GSX-R 600
I started racing at the age of 20, and I became pretty good pretty quickly. I went from club racing which is races within the clubs to Nationals, biggiest championship in the country.
My biggest dream was to race in Isle of Man and I worked with Shaun Harris who wanted to take me to the Isle of Man. Then due to some tragic personal reasons that had a great effect to me as a person, I gave up racing and riding bikes.
I came to Germany in late January this year. Since street racing is what excities me and what is in my blood I wanted to try out Nurburgring Nordschlife so I bought a road bike. CBR954RR
Nurburgring is the most fun I had in a long time but then I realised that the bike is being wasted at other times on the normal roads.. As you can't go very fast there.. So before I die from boredome, I would like to sell my CBR and get a cheap race bike to play on the track. I was just thinking of track days but if entering small races is not more expensive then I would of course like to race as this is the best way to have fun and sharpen some skills..
I have now put up some pics of me and also my current road bike in the personal gallery.
Thanks for the help and support!

Hallo zusammen,
"Rennstreckenfahrzeug ohne Zulassung, kein Brief!!!!! Blankorahmen, nur für Rennstrecke! GFK-Verkleidung und -Höcker! Racing-Endtopf mit DB-Eater! Originalauspuff dabei z.B. für Sachsenring! Beule im Tank, aber dicht! div.Kratzer! Technisch in Ordnung!!!"

I would be very carefull before buying a bike without the "Brief".
First and most important reason is, that you will have big problems to sell that bike again.
Second reason is that this bike is either built on the "Blanko-Rahmen" with parts or it is a stolen bike, with the frame-number removed.
Clearly, you only need the "Brief" if you want to race Seriensport. For private Companys you don't need it.
Cheers

.....das soll er verstehen?????
Thorsten versuch doch mal wenigstens die deutschen Worte richtig zu schreiben- sonst kackt selbst das google Übersetzungstool ab.
......die einen betreiben Rennsport- die anderen reden nur darüber.....

By the way: Welcome to Motoracer. I would be delighted to see that you're as ugly as the rest of the pack here. But I just can't find the photo !
